Time to put a stop to despair

I wrote this one yesterday. Particularly in response to the situation in Gaza, but also it was just borne out of a momentary feeling of helplessness at life’s sometimes seemingly never ending struggles. Often it seems that our issues are self inflicted or borne out of our very own character failings. I believe there is a lot of truth in that. However. At a macro level. Inequalities, injustices, greed and selfishness are at the root causes of many of our global afflictions.

Fundamental human rights

It’s the basics

The point from which we should all begin

Move from there

Start again

Press pause

Back to basics

My right to exist

No other man should decide my fate

Live and let live

Informed consent

Tacit acceptance based on…

Fundemental right of every living being possessed of spirit …air, water, food, education, love, peace

We are all equal.

How can I help you?

What do you need?

Is everything ok with you?

I cut, you cut – we bleed

Where are you going?

And who do you seek?

Are you sure you’re happy here?

Repair, reset, release

Another day of paper chasing

Trying to pay the rent

Another day of strategy

Just where the money went?

Forgo pleasure today bear fruit tomorrow ?

Sow today and reap that which you have sown?

So what do I own?

Possession is 9 tenths of the law

But I didn’t make those rules

They’re old school

Bygone era rhetoric from another time

More devolved. Less aware

Time to put a stop to despair.
